The casing of this VIA handset is made of exceptionally robust and non-slip plastic (TPE). It sits comfortably and securely in the hand thanks to its conical shape. To ensure it is suitable for outdoor use, the device is specially sealed to protect it against rain and splashes.
The VIA handset is held on its base by a strong magnet. When the handset is removed from the base, reed contact is activated and the audio starts playing automatically. When the handset is placed back on its base, playback stops.
